Concert Tours 2007-2008

If Las Vegas took bets on what would be the hottest concert ticket of 2007, it’s unlikely that too many people at the start of the year would have wagered on it being Hannah Montana tickets, but the teen star has sold out arenas in a matter of minutes and joined the ranks of heavyweights concert acts like George Strait, Van Halen, The Police and Bruce Springsteen. Of course all of those could be playing second fiddle if the rumors of a 2008 Led Zeppelin concert tour turn out to be true. Fans of the band have been waiting more than 25 years for the chance to buy Led Zeppelin concert tickets and their wait might finally be coming to an end. If Robert Plant, Jimmy Page, John Paul Jones and Jason Bonham (son of the late, great drummer John Bonham) really do get back together, you can bet that all kinds of concert ticket sales records will be broken.

Even if Zeppelin doesn’t reunite, there are plenty of high-powered concerts on the horizon. For the first time in several years, Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band are heading out on tour again to support the new album “Magic” and Springsteen concert tickets have been selling out fast.

There are several reunion tours that are also getting lots of attention. First there was a mad rush to get Police concert tickets. Then came the news of a Van Halen reunion tour, and on the other end of the musical spectrum, the Spice Girls are also getting back together. And in addition to Van Halen tickets and Spice Girls tickets, the legendary George Strait is still going strong and selling out arenas from coast to coast.

It’s anybody’s guess what will be the hottest 2008 concert tickets, but some of the summer music festivals are sure to be hot as music lovers are finding out what a great value those can be. Festivals like Austin City Limits, Lollapalooza, Ozzfest, Coachella and Bonnaroo allow you to see dozens of bands for one bargain price. And as some of these reunion tours prove after more than 20 years in the making, there is no guarantee that that band you want to see is going to tour again in the near future, so don’t miss your chance to see them this time around.
