A Murder Is Announced

The 'announcement' is in the local paper, stating the time and place of the murder to occur in Miss Blacklock's early Victorian house. However, the victim is not one of the several occupants, temporary or permanent, but an unexpected and unknown visitor. What follows is a classic Christie puzzel of mixed emotions, concealed identities, a second death, a determined Inspector grimly following the twists and turns, and Miss Marple on hand to provide the final solution -- at some risk to herself -- in a dramatic confrontation just before the final curtain.

I played the role of Edmund Swettenham... one of the 'suspects'.
