You Were Here Based
upon the handwritten text on three separate vintage postcards he bought
at
estate sales, playwright Christian Williams wrote three one-act plays
and
produced them under the production title, Wish You Were Here.
Each
of the three plays deal with the possible lives and vacations of the
individuals
who wrote them years ago. I was cast in two of those one-act plays. The
above
photos are from the first of those two plays, titled Just Plain Me.
Here I portrayed Tom Hawkins, a 1938 Hollywood movie star
(aka, Leslie Howard) whom a young woman meets while visiting a classy
lounge in Los Angeles, CA.
