Pre-History
3000 BC - Native
hunter-gather tribes occupy Tessen.
700 BC - The first
ancient burial mounds are built in the area.
1000 - The early
native Sioux tribes are living in the area that will become inland
Tessen.
1006 - The Viking
attempt to settle Newfoundland ends in failure due to native attack.
15th
century
1497
- June -- John Cabot discovers and claims Newfoundland for England.
16th
century
1503
- The first British settlement in Newfoundland is built at Cabato.
1509
- British explorer James Bedford discovers the Great Lakes from the
St.
Lawrence River.
1517 - British
explorer Robert Kensington discovers Wisconsin via the Great Lakes.
1519
- The French establish the settlement of Argentia in Newfoundland.
1521 - Kensington
discovers the shores of northern Minnesota.
1523 - Kensington
and company die while wintering in northern Wisconsin.
1525 - The first
British trading posts are built in Wisconsin.
1528 - A colony of
British separatists is built at Green Bay. They seek freedom and
isolation.
1530 - Aug. 30 --
Green Bay declares it's independence from England. Unhappy with
colonial policies.
1535 - August 1 –
England recognizes Green Bay independence. Self-governance begins.
1536 - The first
Tessen-owned trading posts are built in western Wisconsin.
1540 - The first
census of Tessen shows a population of 295.
1545 - Tessen and
the local natives are co-existing peacefully.
1546 - The Tessen
city of Bedford is built in north-eastern Wisconsin.
1561 - An
agricultural boom hits Tessen. Crops are thriving.
1571 - Tessen
establishes a national centralized bank.
1576 - French
explorers battle with natives in eastern Minnesota.
1585 - Tessen
explorer Edward Smith heads south to begin exploring the Mississippi
River.
1586 - Smith
reaches the end of the Mississippi, and discovers an outlet into
the Gulf of Peisandros.
--------- The Smith
expedition is massacred by natives in the wilderness. Smith is killed.
1588 - Tessen establishes it’s first
professional army.
17th
century
1603 - Fort Leavenworth is built in
Southwestern Wisconsin. It serves as a trading post and defensive fort.
1605 - A trading
post is built at the future site of Milwaukee. Settlement begins in the
area.
1606 - Explorer
William Hastings sets out to explore the wilderness to the south.
1608 - June 8 --
Hastings discovers what will become the site of Biloxi.
--------- Sept. 20 -- The Tessen Trade
Company is founded.
1611 - A city is
built at Biloxi along the Gulf of Peisandros. It will eventually become
a
major naval port.
1612 - Tessen
settlements and trading posts are built throughout eastern Minnesota.

Tessen begins shipping goods down the Mississippi River. The borders
are opened to trade.
1616 - Southern
natives attack and massacre the inhabitants of Biloxi.
1633 - A rush of
colonists to find their way to Tessen. Superior becomes a city.
1652 - Aug. 19 --
The Tessen capital is moved from Green Bay to Milwaukee.
1653 - The renowned
Milwaukee Arts Academy is built.
1655 - St. Anthony
(later called Minneapolis) is founded.
1659 - The Tessen
Stock Exchange is founded.
1667 - Tessen
begins building trading posts along the Mississippi.
1688 - A city is
rebuilt at Biloxi. Tessen controls the Mississippi River.
18th
century
1704
- Tessen allies with Spain against Turkey. First war.
1706 - May 28 --
Turkish forces attack Biloxi, but are repelled by the city garrison.
1707 - A major
defensive fortress is built at Biloxi.

Aug. – Tessen defeats Turkish troops in Alabama wilderness.
1710 - Feb. 18 --
Spain accepts peace with Turkey. Tessen at peace.
1742 - A naval
shipyard is built in Escanaba.
1758 - April 20 --
A major political crisis hits Tessen. National stability falls.
1761 - March 27 --
A second political crisis hits Tessen. Stability suffers yet again.
1766 - Tessen
recovers from the political crisis of the last ten years.
1774 - The British
begin exploring the island later known as the state of Quadra.
1778 - March 31 --
British Captain James Cook claims Quadra for the British Empire.
1789 - Fort San
Miguel is built in Quadra by the Spanish. This will be the only Spanish
settlement in Tessen.
1792 - The island
of
Quadra is officially named after Peruvian seafarer, Juan Francisco
Quadra.
1797 - July 5 –
Tessen joins USA in their War of Independence.
1799 - Aug. 3 --
Battle of Southport. British troops are repelled by Tessen defenders.
--------- Aug. 28 - Tessen
troops rout the British at South Bend, Indiana.
19th
century
1800 - Sept. 20 – England accepts
peace with USA. Tessen at peace.
1803 - England
buys
Biloxi and Tessen territories along the Mississippi River.
--------- April 30 – Tessen gains the Dakotas
east of the Missouri River.
1809 - Fort
Victoria is built by the British on the island of Quadra
1811 - Dec. 16 --
The Great Missouri Earthquake is felt in Tessen.
1812 - Tessen
remains neutral in the War of 1812.
1833 - The USA city of
Chicago is settled by 350 settlers.
1836 - Tessen
population reaches
one million.
--------- The Lumber and Paper industries begin
in Tessen.
1843 - Aug. 8 – Peisandros
declares war on Rose. Tessen allies w/ Rose.

Aug 12 – General Cavanaugh with
10,000 men heads to help defend Rose.

Dec. 18 – Cavanaugh invades Peisandros,
and is attacked near Dallas.
1844 - Jan. 18 –
Cavanaugh is forced to retreat back to Austin, Rose.
1845 - Sept. 18 –
Rose accepts peace with Peisandros.
Tessen at peace.
1848 - The
world-renowned Opera House is built in Milwaukee.

1850 - The Agricultural sector of

1937 - An ancient stone temple is unearthed

Tessen's first naval aircraft carrier is launched. RTS Warrior CV-1.

host the Summer Olympics, however, they are cancelled due to the war.
1946
- March 25 -- The Great War ends. 7,600 Tessen war casualties.
